In this course we will embark on a transformative journey of a socially and theologically vibrant field of Eco-theology. We will look for an answer to the question whether the Judeo-Christian worldview exacerbates our ecological crisis. We will explore key Biblical texts on creation of the universe and humanity and will analyze ideologies that portray humanity either the sole master of humanity or just a small particle thereof. We will also survey diverse contemporary solutions to ecological challenges, while taking into account Pope Francis's ecological vision. I am inviting you to join me to unravel ecological crisis roots and chart a course for transformative change.
